Who we are:
Our senior management personnel have been key players in Bangladesh’s shipping scenario since 1978. The collective experience ranges from maritime operations, training, survey, port consultancy, claim management, cargo handling consultant, freight and project cargo consultant, accident investigation, negotiation with port and customs in matters of trade facilitation, shipping operations, maritime regulations, dispute regarding cargo or marine accident, management of private terminal, management of shipping operation of a large multi-national manufacturer and trader.
Our professionalism, dedication, strength of local network and ethical conduct have encouraged many of our business clients to seek our assistance as agent for some services even when we were officially not registered as a shipping agent. Our vision to set up a dedicated and fully independent shipping agency business was shaped by these encouragements. We fully recognize that ship owners and international charterers often do not get the desired level of service in Bangladesh.
With offices in Chittagong and Dhaka, we attend to all service needs of ship owners, charterers and project contractors. We also act as logistics service providers for clients moving sea and air freight, ensuring that freight is handled in the safest, quickest and cheapest way. We leverage on our strong relationship with Chittagong Port Authority, Customs, Berth Operators, Stevedores and other service providers to ensure that our clients are served with a level of service that is unparalleled in Bangladesh.

Port Agency
Delta Lloyds is the preferred agent of choice of international ship owners, ship managers and charterers.
Delta Lloyd Ltd maintains a full-service, independent agency that offers inward clearance of vessels and cargo calling at the port and arrange berths and/or lighters to ensure that the ship’s time in the port in minimized. We effectively liaise with the port authority, customs, marine departments, berth operators, lighter owners and all other service providers or vendors to ensure that a ship’s call in the port in smooth, at minimum cost and expeditious. We handle liner vessels, dry bulk tramp vessels, break bulk liner vessels, specialized project vessels, and tanker vessels and are experts in managing risks associated all cargo shipments.
We actively monitor, manage and report cargo movement to our clients from origin, to vessel, to final destination. We proactively identify and address issues before they become problems for our clients. We offer customized reporting and onsite loading supervisory services at all ports we serve.
We represent charterers, ship owners and operators. We are a owner and charterer focused shipping agency house working independent of our group companies to ensure 100% separation of activities and information channels.
We have well established and independent working relationships with all terminals, stevedores, government agencies, and waterfront vendors in Bangladesh and this helps us to minimize the costs of ship owners by turning around ships quickly and efficiently.
